  19.                            *GOD'S LOVE*

  23. Scripture- Ephesians 2:4,5 "But God! So rich is He in mercy! Because of
  24. and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with
  25. which He loved us, Even when we were dead by our own shortcomings and
  26. trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with 
  27. Christ.  He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life
  28. which He quickened Him.  For it is by grace by His favor and mercy which
  29. you did not deserve - that you are saved (delivered from judgment and 
  30. made partakers of Christ's salvation)."

  32. Do you live with this hidden fear that God is angry with you?  Or that
  33. you don't quite measure up to God's expectations of you?  I know for
  34. most of my Christian life I thought those very same things.  In 
  35. addition to that, I lived with this nagging fear in the back of my mind
  36. that I was totally displeasing to God, and unworthy of His love.
  37.  
  38. What a wrong concept of God that is...nothing could be farther from the
  39. truth.  Paul tells us that God has a wonderfully intense love for us and
  40. that He is merciful and kind toward us and that He has imparted to us the
  41. very life of Christ.
  42.  
  43. Listen, you can rest assured in the fact that God loves you and He truly
  44. cares for you.  You need not fear every time you make a mistake that
  45. God will turn His back on you, but know this, that we have forgiveness
  46. through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who died for your sins and mine.
